Beauty Tool Every Woman Should Have: The Corner Eyelash Curler
We’ve sung the praises of the eyelash curler many times around here (hey, Petra even showed you what she looks like with one curled eye), but we’ve neglected to talk in-depth about its offspring, the corner curler (AKA a precision or mini-curler). Let me explain why it could potentially change your life.
The corner curler is a slim-headed device (like the one above by Shu Uemura) that allows you to get into the areas a regular-sized one can’t reach. I use mine for my outer lashes to make my eyes look even bigger after I use my full-size one, but I’ve heard some women use them for their lower one as well. And because they create a more dramatic bend than a regular curler, they’re really great for curl-resistant lashes—you just have to be gentle or you’ll end up with a 90 degree angle instead of a curve. In fact, it’s essential that you do the squeeze-move-out-a-millimeter-squeeze trick all the way to the tips and don’t squeeze too tight with these guys.
