Eos Lip Balms Don’t Look Like This Anymore
Some products don’t even need a logo, you know ’em just by looking: Glossier’s millennial pink packaging, MAC’s sleek black bullets, and—of course—one of the most spot-it-from-a-mile-away classics, Eos’ cute, little lip balm pods. And while the tiny dome-shaped design isn’t going anywhere (thank god because it always makes it easier to find in the bottom of your bag), the fan-favorite formula inside is getting an upgrade.
Revealed on Instagram after weeks of teasing, the brand just dropped Eos Crystal, a brand-new, wax-free balm that’s completely see-through, hence the name “crystal.” It’s made with five natural oils including avocado, aloe, coconut, castor, and sunflower. And there’s shea butter in there, too, to keep your lips feeling extra silky. The reason for the change? The new formula is meant to keep your lips moisturized and hydrated without the heavy feeling that wax delivers. It’s also totally vegan.
Truly, a treat for your lips and eyes. The only downside is that the two new flavors, Hibiscus Peach and Vanilla Orchid, sound so good, you might have trouble keeping it on.
