These Two New Gorgeous Chanel Nail Polishes Will Probably Sell Out Immediately
For the past few years, Chanel has released extremely limited-edition nail polish collections for Fashion’s Night Out, the shopping extravaganza typically held in September before the fashion shows. Well, the event was canceled in the U.S. this year, but Chanel still released two limited-edition colors, Magic and Cosmic, for Fashion’s Night Out festivities overseas. The colors weren’t sold here in the U.S., much to the dismay of Chanel nail polish fanatics everywhere.
But today, the brand is releasing the two-polish collection, called Nuit Magique, just in time for the holidays.
Magic is a creamy dark peacock-like teal and Cosmic is black with suspended blue and silver glitter. If you’re a Chanel collector, go here and here immediately, where the polishes go for $27.
If you miss snagging the colors—or want a less expensive version—here are a few alternatives:
Rococo in Space Invader, $16.50: I’ve been wearing this one all season. It’s one of the most sophisticated glitter polishes I’ve seen in a while. The glitter is very fine, so it gives a sheen effect to the black.
Orly in Masked Ceremony, $8: This one skews more slate gray than black because it’s packed with silver glitter.
Sally Hansen Triple Shine in Slick Black, $4.99: This one is a gorgeous inky bluish black that shimmers just enough.
Zoya in Cynthia, $8: It’s a tad darker than the Chanel version, but it’s a great winter color.
Julep in Marion, $3.99 (on sale): This one is a shimmery peacock, perfect for parties.
Revlon ColorStay Longwear Nail Enamel in Midnight, $7.99: The name even goes along with the theme.
