H&M’s Awesome New Swimsuit Campaign Embraces Women of All Sizes
Fashion brands are constantly criticized for featuring unhealthy and unnaturally skinny models in their advertisements, but H&M is taking one giant step forward in representing women of all sizes with its new summer collection ads featuring model Jenny Runk.
I reached out to H&M to see if we can expect to see more relatable campaigns like this one. “We think Jenny Runk shows off our summer swimwear in a very good way and are extremely happy with the pictures,” said a spokeswoman. “At H&M we try to show a mix of models in all our seasonal campaigns. Our aim is not to convey any particular message or ideal, rather to find a model who wears the collection in an inspiring way. This online campaign shows our H&M+ summer collection.”
H&M isn’t the only brand making swimwear that fits more body types. Earlier today, Nikki wrote about Gabifresh and her exclusive collab with Swimsuits for All.
What do you think of H&M’s new campaign? Do you want to see more advertisements like this from fashion brands?
