Two Fresh Ways to Wear Winter’s Little Pink Dress (for Day and Night!)
Plush pink coats are definitely a thing this winter, but don’t forget about the soft color on dresses too. Celebs embraced the pastel in the form of long evening gowns this past September at the Emmy Awards and this week Amanda Seyfried showed us not one but two fabulous ways to rock the little pink dress.
As a lovely daytime look, Amanda opted for a flirty rose-hued lace dress by Valentino, paired with nude peep-toe heels from Roger Vivier. We’re thinking that a black blazer or buttoned-up cardigan and tights could bring this dress right into the office. (And how cute would it look with a black leather moto jacket on the weekends?!)
And for evening, the actress went with a strapless, structured, and totally bombshell Zac Posen cocktail frock in a carnation shade. She went with another nude heel—but strappy and platform for night—plus a sparkling diamond bracelet for some blinged-out glam. A bright red lip for both outfits brings in an extra kick and dose of bold color. Bonus for an LPD: pastels are a super-wearable trend for this spring too!
