Afternoon Snack: Chocolate Covered Edamame
In the Trader Joe’s “love fest” post last week, it was fun to see everyone’s favorite TJ products. I took VG reader tesshall23’s advice and tried these…
Dark-Chocolate Edamame Beans (P.S. I feel compelled to tell you that I first typed “edamama”–how’s that for a name?) are sold at Trader Joe’s of course, but I feel like I’ve seen them elsewhere (if you don’t have a TJ’s near you–keep an eye out at other stores; you can also make them yourself, if you’re having a Martha moment).
In any case, I’m adding these little addictive treats to my fave-TJ-products list. They are kind of salty, kind of sweet and oh-so chocolatey–and without the fat that chocolate-covered nuts have. (BTW, somehow the nutrition label got torn off of my package, so I’m not sure what an exact serving size is (is ignorance bliss?), but it looks like one serving = 200 cals.)
Do you like edamame–in chocolate or any other way?
